Infrastructure

The WCAT project is one the largest infrastructural and technological ventures in the region. The Centre is located in 3 main buildings:

• Medical Biotechnology (A) with an Animal House (A2) and Industrial Biotechnology (A) with a Greenhouse (A1),

• Chemical Technology and Nanotechnology (B),

• Materials Science with the Regional Laboratory of Unique Equipment (C).

The total area of the in-house lab and office space of the Centre is 20 425 sq. m.

The highly specialized equipment placed in WCAT which are available for researching and developing technologies by the scientific community, innovative small and medium enterprises as well as R&D centres of Polish and international industry.
